Let's Talk Dairy!
First I wanna say how much fun I had supporting Dolce Italian Ice for their 2 year anniversary! Since I treated myself to some non-dairy soft serve, I wanted to briefly talk about dairy with y’all (I couldn’t help myself)!!
Dairy is known to be quite inflammatory to our bodies. We physiologically do not need any lactose past infancy which is why there are so many people who are lactose intolerant. If you’re suffering from congestion, digestive issues like reflux (GERD)or IBS, if you have skin issues like acne or still struggle with breakouts, or if you’re a guy and have prostate issues....try giving dairy up for awhile! Start with a couple weeks to see if you notice a change. There have been several studies linking dairy to these problems! No excuses y’all. There are so so so many alternatives nowadays. Plant based milks, creams, ice creams (in moderation 😆)...even cheeses! I’ve found i love them, but maybe I’m a little biased haha. Let me know what y’all think! I’ll probably talk in more detail about dairy later on, but here are my thoughts for now 🤔
